Orion’s Catitudes: A Rescued Feral Cat Speaks

Orion, a recovering feral gives his cat-speak and ©whisker waves on cat issues.

** Cat companions scuffles — Alienated Relationships

Alienated Relationships ……
(Inter-Cat-Hostility, Rivalry)
— Max and Peach work on companionship

Max chills while Peach works out

Orion knows that Max and Peach will gradually accept and welcome each other’s companionship. Max even allowed Peach to hang near his crate without a cross hiss during their session. The crate has been used at intervals to allow the two cats to be together.

The crate will be replaced by a cat-friendly kitty play pen and a gate that extends from the floor to top of the door frame. The gate will enable them to view each other 24/7 without physical contact.

Until the crate is replaced

— Haley’s Ambivalence

Haley has a moment of aqua relaxation — (Water collected for plants)

Orion appreciates and respects Haley’s reluctance and dismay toward her adolescent companions — especially, when Harry ambushes her or Harley wants to play when she, Haley, prefers “no contact”. After all, she’s a senior cat who has her dignity.
Haley will become more tolerant and interactive with private play and affection time, and verbal credit and mention whenever her companions are interacted with —
“You two are so terrific, that’s why Haley wanted you.”
Or, “Isn’t that right Haley?”
It’s a paw and whisker at a time.

Harry lets Haley monopolize the feathery wand

Orion’s Ancestral Transparency
“Looks like a Siamese, blue eyes like a Siamese.” Nevertheless, Orion is a double agent — 02. His cat talk is classic meows, not Siamese talk. Not the typical, forever in your face, Siamese. His multi, mixed identity will be revealed with a simple Cat DNA Test. Orion is okay with this potential disclosure and knows you’ll want to discover your cat’/s ancestry. (Scroll through this Purr Events post for details.)
