Woody Rejects His New Food Bowl

New Food Bowl Rejection

Nancy couldn’t understand why her cat, Woody, wouldn’t eat from his new bowl. She wondered if it made a different sound when she put the bowl down, and he didn’t associate the new bowl with food.
I told Nancy that Woody is a creature of habit. “When you put his new bowl down, stroke him and hand-feed him a bit of food from the new bowl so he has a positive association. Also, you could put a little food in his old bowl and set it down by the new one.”
Here’s to happy dining for Woody!
