Cat Wannabe Legacy
Your cat can take on qualities of a former companion. Call it power of example, mirror behavior, or now “I can be top cat on the cat-walk.” Orion declares this to be a legacy. Here are some of his faves:
Monkee’s Toddler-Friendly Legacy Has Evolved —
Bear, Monkee’s late companion, was unflappable with baby Sima, whereas 12 year old Monkee either ran from Sima or hissed her away. But Bear bequeathed Monkee his role of “cat nanny” and his winsome ways with Sima. No longer, toddler-phobic, Monkee will now allow Sima to brush and even stroke him. Monkee — The Cat Nanny Supreme
October 6, baby Alan was born. Monkee, was once a nanny “in training”, thanks to Bear. But baby Alan has totally transformed Monkee to cat nanny supreme. Take a look at the Monkee – Alan line-up.
Mister’s Legacy Sparks Missy’s New Cat-sonna
A Fearless Feline Missy, a 15 year old cat, in L.A. was previously low profile to her cat mate, Mister, who succumbed with quite a battle to throat cancer. With FaceTime sessions, follow-up texts and Reiki, Missy had a major transformation. Missy incorporated traits from the late Mister — the mover and shaker and her protector.
A Missy transformation, Mister’s legacy, sparked the way to a new familial relationship. (Scroll to the end of May 2018 Blog to Mister Moves On)
Susie’s Legacy Transformed Misha
Susie was always front and center. Misha was her cat in waiting. But now that Susie had passed on, after a long bout with cancer, Misha has become Ms. Catsonality Plus. No doubt, it was Susie’s legacy.
