She was recently quoted in Pet Projects by Nick Paumgarten in The New Yorker, June 28. One of the subjects in this article told how dog meat is common in Asia and how animal activist groups rescue dogs and transport them to the U.S.A.
Shortly after reading Paumgarten’s article and on the way to a house call, I stopped to compliment a gentleman’s dog.
“She’s from Korea—one of a group of fosters. She’s a love,” he said.
There’s that 6 Degrees of Separation, especially, in the animal world.
