Cat Behavior Questions
* Tail Chaser  * Provide For Your Cat  * What A Twitching Tail Means

Q. Why does my cat sometimes chase her tail and start to bite in that area?

A.  Your cat may be trying to tell you that her anal glands are full and have to be expressed by her veterinarian.  This usually occurs with chubby cats. It could be a minor type of convulsion. Either way, such symptoms can be triggered by stress. It’s usually essential to treat the problem both medically and emotionally so your cat’s behavior will become well integrated.

Q. How can I provide for my cats after my death?

A.  Include them in your will and arrange for a friend to make provisions for them. Perhaps you can do the same for your friend.

Q. What causes my cat to twitch his tail back and forth from time to time?

A.  Cats often twitch their tail and ripple their back when they’re anxious, upset or uncomfortable.
